Product information "ALLNET Brick´R´knowledge LED yellow"
The yellow LED (light emitting diode) is protected by a series resistor against overload. It only lights up if the diode is connected in flow direction, i.e. current flows from anode to cathode. The LEDs need minimum voltage in flow direction, to light up. For yellow LEDs this is approx. 1.8V.
