With the Snom V420 4K video conferencing camera, Snom is expanding its portfolio beyond traditional IP telephony and is now bringing its decades of experience in audio quality to video communication. Whether for online meetings, video recording or live streaming – the V420 delivers crystal-clear 4K images with vivid colours and is equally suited to home offices and small to medium-sized meeting rooms.

The automatic exposure adjustment responds precisely to changing lighting conditions. If required, the integrated light compensation increases brightness by up to 50 per cent, reduces distracting shadows and ensures that you and your team are always well-lit in the frame – even under difficult conditions.

The V420 is particularly flexible when it comes to framing: the field of view can be continuously adjusted up to 120°, either via three preset levels or manually. This allows you to frame one-to-one calls just as perfectly as meetings with multiple participants.

The camera also showcases its Snom heritage when it comes to audio: three integrated microphones – two omnidirectional ones on the left and right, and one unidirectional one in the centre – enable precise beamforming for clear, focused voice capture. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 10 kHz, a sensitivity of -38 dB and a range of up to 5 metres, every word is reliably captured – ideal for group meetings and hybrid working environments. When combined with the Snom C300 hands-free kit, it creates a complete video conferencing solution for small meeting rooms.

Set-up is incredibly simple: thanks to Plug & Play via USB-C, the V420 is ready for use straight away; alternatively, it can be used via the Snom Connect desktop app for Windows PCs. The integrated mounting clip ensures a secure hold on the monitor, without any complicated installation. To protect your privacy, the camera features a built-in lens cover – as soon as this is closed, the camera switches off automatically.

Like the well-known Snom IP phones, the V420 is also made from recycled plastic, combining modern technology with a commitment to sustainable design. The three-year Snom manufacturer’s warranty further ensures peace of mind for your investment.
