Der HIP-RA ist ein HDMI over IP Extender (Receiver) zur Übertragung von 1080p HDMI A/V-Signalen über ein Standard-Gigabit-Netzwerk. Er eignet sich für Digital-Signage-Installationen, bei denen HDMI-Quellen über ein einzelnes Cat5e/6-Kabel bis zu 120 m verteilt werden. Neben Punkt-zu-Punkt unterstützt das System auch Point-to-Multipoint und Multipoint-to-Multipoint Setups; IR-Übertragung und Web-GUI erleichtern die Konfiguration.
