The Clex cylinder housing is a mechanical double cylinder to accommodate the electronic and mechanical knobs of the Clex prime, Clex private and Clex public systems. Different products can be assembled by simply plugging and unplugging the knobs. This makes it possible to respond to changes in door thickness in the same way as to the requirement to retrofit from single-sided electronic authorization (1 electronic and 1 mechanical knob) to double-sided electronic authorization (2 electronic knobs).
