In jenem Baustein sind zwei LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) untergebracht. Zusätzlich wird je ein Vorwiderstand von 1KOhm verwendet, der die Dioden vor zu hohem Stromfluss schützt.
Sie sind für 2mA Strom optimiert. Die beiden Signale ans andere Ende weitergeleitet, so das sich dort weitere Steuerungen durchführen lassen.
