The Dragino DS03A-LB/LS is a LoRaWAN door sensor for Internet of Things solutions. It recognises the opening/closing status of the door and establishes a connection to the IoT server via the LoRaWAN network. The user can see the door status, the opening time and the number of openings on the IoT server.

The LoRa radio technology used in the DS03A-LB/LS enables the device to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates. It offers spread spectrum communication with extremely long range and high noise immunity with minimal power consumption.

The DS03A-LB/LS transmits data regularly every 2 hours and every time the door is opened/closed. It also counts the door opening times and calculates the duration of the last door opening. The user can also deactivate the uplink for each opening/closing event, instead the DS03A-LB/LS can count each opening event and send the uplink periodically.

The DS03A-LB/LS supports the Datalog function. It can save the data when there is no LoRaWAN network and establish an uplink when the network is restored.

DS03A-LB/LS has an open door alarm function. The user can set this function so that the device sends an alarm if the door has been open for a certain period of time.

DS03A-LB/LS is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery for operation at low to high temperatures.

DS03A-LB/LS supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA updating, making it easier for the user to use.

DS03A-LB/LS is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or a solar-powered + Li-on battery and is designed for long-term use of up to 5 years.

Each DS03A-LB/LS is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations, which are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and automatically establish a connection when switched on.
