The BR-330AC-LP wireless bridge from Silex enables the secure and stable connection of all devices with an Ethernet interface to an existing WLAN infrastructure. It has a particularly low power consumption and is therefore also suitable for areas where energy-saving operation is required. Ideal for medical technology thanks to the intelligent Silex SX-590 module, security features such as 802.1x enterprise security and 802.11r (fast roaming) available, supports MAC address filtering, with dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 1x1, RMS Power: 2.75W (DC5V, 0.55A), supports Single Client Mode and Multi Client Mode, simple and quick configuration via webpage, Kitting Utility Tool or AMC Manager.

Thanks to an optionally available Y-USB power cable (item no. 243356 aka E1414), the wireless bridge can also be supplied with power via existing USB ports on a main system.
The BR-330AC-LP consumes up to 45 per cent less power than our BR-300AN and BR-500AC wireless bridge products, extending the possible application range of our wireless bridge product range. In addition, security features such as 802.1x enterprise security and 802.11r (fast roaming) are available for the BR-330AC-LP.

Low power consumption

The BR-330AC-LP is the Ethernet-to-WLAN bridge for businesses with the lowest power consumption in the industry. The BR-330AC-LP consumes less than 2.5 W (RMS: effective value) when transmitting the wireless signal. The low-power operation enables longer operating time with a high-capacity power bank when the wireless bridge is used with a mobile device.

802.1X Enterprise Security

The BR-330AC-LP supports 802.1x authentication to connect to the corporate network via the WLAN network.

The BR-330AC-LP is the ideal solution for successful IT/OT convergence with traditional, non-802.1X-capable Ethernet devices. By combining 802.1X authentication over the WLAN through the BR-330AC-LP and its MAC address filtering function for the connected Ethernet device, only authorised Ethernet devices in the OT domain can converge into the IT network. Instead of replacing older Ethernet devices to achieve IT/OT convergence, upgrade the Ethernet devices with the BR-330AC-LP.

MAC address filtering

The BR-330AC-LP supports MAC address filtering. You can protect your network from physical manipulation by ensuring that only known devices can join your WLAN network via the BR-330AC-LP. If you activate MAC address filtering, only devices that you have activated can be paired with the bridge and the network.

Connect single or multiple Ethernet devices to a secure Wi-Fi network

The BR-330AC-LP supports two connection topologies, a single client mode and a multi-client mode. The BR-330AC-LP seamlessly connects an Ethernet device to an 802.11ac WLAN in single-client mode.

Fast roaming for mobility

The BR-330AC-LP supports fast roaming to offer an Ethernet device not only a wireless connection, but also mobility. The BR-330AC-LP is the perfect solution for a medical cart and mobile workstation.

Easy configuration for quick installation

Configuring the BR-330AC-LP is quick and easy thanks to the integrated configuration website, the initial kitting utility or the AMC Manager®. Even if you need a number of device configurations to install a specific number of BR-330AC-LP, Silex will work with you to fulfil your individual requirements.
