Product information "Tekbox TBGP-250/140 Roll-Up Ground Plane"

Many EMC pre-compliance test setups require a common ground plane according to their test standard. Not every pre-compliance lab has the space necessary for the permanent installation of a solid metal ground plane. This is where Tekbox’s TBGP-250/140 roll-up grounding mat comes in. The mat can be rolled up after use and stored in its transport box to save space. The grounding mat consists of a conductive fabric with a high silver content, which is connected to a fleece.


The grounding mat can be used in full size, partially unrolled or simply cut to size by the user according to his requirements. 4 solid nickel-plated brass contact-plates are supplied with the Ground Plane. These are placed on the base plate and establish a good electrical contact due to their weight of approx. 230g and their surface. This method is very versatile as the flanges can be easily placed and moved anywhere on the ground surface. The spacing of the threaded holes is matched to the dimensions of the grounding brackets of most Tekbox-LISNs. In addition, each block has three M5 threads to contact conventional grounding brackets.
